Manufactured Home Foundation Certifications
As a Licensed Professional Engineer I can issue a certification letter stating that the home you are financing meets the HUD Permanent Foundation Guide for Manufactured Housing (HUD-7584), dated September 1996.
The primary purpose of the inspection is to certify that the home is properly anchored to the permanent foundation. Upon completion of the inspection a letter report with engineers seal will be emailed to the lender within 24 hours.
In rare instances the home does not meet the guidelines. If this is the case then we will recommend the most economical methods to bring the home into compliance.
You need a licensed engineer, not a contractor or handyman. This is required by FHA and lenders.
